QUESTIONS

32. -- MS. ANNA THISTLE (Grand Falls-Buchans) - To ask the Honourable the Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board to lay on the Table of the House the following information:

(a) the results of any reports or recommendations regarding the expenditure of the $2 billion Atlantic Accord payment from Ottawa;

(b) the deciding factors in the decision to invest the bulk of the $2 billion payment in the teachers' pension fund; and

(c) other options which were explored and the reasons for their ultimate rejection.

33. -- MS. ANNA THISTLE (Grand Falls-Buchans) - To ask the Honourable the Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board to lay on the Table of the House the following information:

(a) any analyses completed by or for the Government regarding the impact, in both costs and employment, to the Province of the Federal Conservative Government's revised plans for day-care funding.

34. -- MS. ANNA THISTLE (Grand Falls-Buchans) - To ask the Honourable the Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board to lay on the Table of the House the following information:

(a) revenues generated by the provincial gasoline tax for the past three years; and

(b) the results of any studies or recommendations regarding the possibility of decreasing provincial gasoline taxes.
