QUESTIONS

 

39. − MR. DALE KIRBY (St. John's North) – To ask the Minister of Service Newfoundland and Labrador to lay on the Table of the House a list of the results of all K-12 school bus inspections carried out in the Province since October 11, 2011.

 

40. − MR. CHRISTOPHER MITCHELMORE (The Straits – White Bay North) – To ask the Minister of Finance to lay on the Table of the House the following information:

 

(a)     a schedule for consultations with Newfoundlanders and Labradorians for the upcoming pre-Budget process for 2014-2015;

 

(b)     documentation to support the claim that Government is establishing a ceiling for new spending growth;

 

(c)     details of the unfunded public pension plan liabilities and other post-retirement liabilities and

 

(d)    Government's long-term plan to reduce unfunded public pension plan liabilities and payments made to these unfunded plans in the current fiscal year.

 

41. − MR. CHRISTOPHER MITCHELMORE (The Straits – White Bay North) – To ask the Minister of Advanced Education and Skills to lay on the Table of the House the following information:

 

(a)     provide an update on the Newfoundland and Labrador population growth strategy, which has a goal to create and promote conditions favourable to in-migration and an increased birth rate.

 

(b)     dates of meetings and reports, presentations, research material, undertaken by those involved with the Newfoundland & Labrador Population Growth Strategy since it was announced in January 2013.
