QUESTIONS

 

56. − MR. CHRISTOPHER MITCHELMORE (The Straits – White Bay North) – To ask the Minister of Health and Community Services to lay on the table of the House the following:

 

(a)     details of the Department's Care Close to Home strategy that will ensure an adequate supply of long-term care facility beds to meet the population needs;

 

(b)     current waitlist for long-term care at John M. Gray Centre, St. Anthony and

 

(c)     any correspondence or plans discussing the potential of adding long-term care beds at White Bay Central Health Centre, Roddickton Bide-Arm and the impact it would have on the availability of beds at John M. Gray Centre, St. Anthony.

 

57. − MR. CHRISTOPHER MITCHELMORE (The Straits – White Bay North) – To ask the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs to lay on the table of the House any correspondence it has had with Federal counterparts which requests extending operations of Marine Communications and Traffic Services (MCTS), or Coast Guard Radio in St. Anthony beyond the current slated closure of this office in 2014.  

 

58. − MR. CHRISTOPHER MITCHELMORE (The Straits – White Bay North) – To ask the Minister of Transportation and Works to lay on the table of the House any correspondence or research undertaken by the Department to extend 24-hour snow clearing on Route 430 beyond the Gros Morne National Park boundaries.
