to introduce a Bill entitled, “An Act To Amend The Management
Of Greenhouse Gas Act”. (Bill No. 27)

THE HONOURABLE THE GOVERNMENT HOUSE LEADER – To Move:
“BE
IT RESOLVED that
the House of Assembly urge the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador to
establish an all-party Select Committee on Democratic Reform”.
3. – MR. MARK BROWNE (Placentia West
– Bellevue) – To Move:
“WHEREAS Government
announced as part of Budget 2018, a $1M investment for a new cost-shared cellular
service pilot project;
AND
WHEREAS telecommunications services are essential for economic prosperity,
social development, and global competitiveness;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED
that this Honourable House encourage providers and
municipalities to work together to expand coverage and provide cellular service
to communities in rural areas that are currently unserved.”
