Liquor Limitation Order (Amendment)
under the
Liquor Control Act
(O.C. 2019-263)

Under the authority of sections 61 and 68 of the Liquor Control Act, the Board of Directors of the Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation, with the approval of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, makes the following Order.

Liquor brought into the province limited

as amended

        1. Section 2 of the Liquor Limitation Order is repealed and the following substituted:

Liquor brought into the province limited

        2. An individual may, on any one occasion, bring liquor into the province from a part of Canada other than the province where

             (a)  the liquor is physically accompanied by the individual as it is brought into the province;

             (b)  the liquor is for the individual's personal consumption or for consumption by another individual at the first individual's expense; and

             (c)  the quantity of liquor does not exceed

                      (i)  in the case of spirits, 6 litres,

                     (ii)  in the case of wine, 18 litres, and

                    (iii)  in the case of beer or coolers, 52 litres in total.
