Notice of Wellhead Protected Water Supply Area of the Town of North West River, Number 1 and Number 3 Wells, WS-G-0513
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 61 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as the Wellhead Protected Water Supply Area, Well Number 1and Number 3, WS-G-0513 for the Town of North West River as a wellhead protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Lake Melville abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point at the low water mark on the easterly shore of Little Lake having scaled UTM co-ordinates of northing 5,935,961 metres and easting 688,622 metres;

Then running in a general easterly direction to a point having scaled UTM co-ordinates of northing 5,935,941 metres and easting 688,979 metres;

Then following an arc of 350 metre radius, with its centre being the Town of North West River Number 1 Well having UTM co-ordinates of northing 5,935,592 metres and easting 688,954 metres, clockwise to a point having scaled UTM co-ordinates of northing 5,935,243 metres and easting 688,930 metres;

Then running in a general westerly direction to a point at the low water mark on the easterly shore of Little Lake having scaled UTM co-ordinates of northing 5,935,254 metres and easting 688,716 metres;

Then running in a general northerly direction along the sinuosities of the easterly shore of Little Lake to the point of commencement.

All co-ordinates refer to Zone 20 of the NAD 27 Universal Transverse Mercator Projection.
