General Election Deferral Order
under the
Municipal Elections Act

Under the authority of subsection 5(3) of the Municipal Elections Act, I make the following Order.

1. This order may be cited as the General Election Deferral Order.

2. Notwithstanding subsection 5(2) of the Municipal Elections Act , it is ordered that the 2025 general election for all cities, towns and local service districts in the province be deferred to October 2, 2025.
