Clarenville Order
under the
Municipalities Act

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

This Order may be cited as the Town of Clarenville Order

The boundaries of the Town of
Clarenville
are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal
3.
Newfoundland Regulations 200/93, 26/94 and 27/94 are repealed.

Schedule
Beginning at a point on the highwater mark of the western shoreline of Northwest Arm, that point being the easternmost extremity of Bluff Point;
Then in a westerly direction 10,850 metres, more or less, to the northeasternmost extremity of Goose Pond;
Then in a northerly direction 7,000 metres, more or less, to the easternmost extremity of a pond locally known as Long Lune Pond;
Then due west 7,150 metres, more or less, to a point;
Then due north 6,900 metres, more or less, to a point;
Then due east 5,750 metres, more or less, to a point on the centre line of the Canadian National Railway right-of-way;
Then south 63° 30' east 10,750 metres, more or less, to a point where the southern limits of Route 231 to Random Island intersects the eastern limits of Route 230;
Then in an easterly direction along the southern limits of Route 231 to a point on the highwater mark of Northwest Arm;
Then in a southerly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline of that arm passing Aspey Point,
Shoal
Harbour
, Red Point, Dark Hole, Russells
Cove to Bluff Point, the point of beginning.
All bearings refer to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 National Topographic Maps 2C/4 and 2D/1.
