Howley Order

Municipalities Act

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.
ORDER
Analysis
Short title
1.
This Order may be cited as the Town of Howley Order
.

The boundaries of the Town of
Howley
are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal
3.
Newfoundland
Regulation 887/78 is repealed.

Schedule
Beginning at a point on the eastern shoreline of
Grand
Lake
where the shoreline intersects the power transmission line near the entrance to the main brook;
Then running east 5,175 metres, more or less, to a point on the centre line of the Canadian National Railway;
Then running south 4,425 metres, more or less, to a point on the power transmission line;
Then running west 6,250 metres, more or less, to a point on the eastern shoreline of Grand
Lake

Then running in a generally northerly direction along the sinuosities of the eastern shoreline of
Grand
Lake
to the point of beginning.
All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
