Town of Springdale Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Springdale Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Springdale are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 819/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point on the northerly shore of Halls Bay at highwater mark where the western bank of Critches Brook joins the shore;

Then running along the western bank of Critches Brook in a general northerly direction for a distance of 1,600 metres;

Then turning and running on a true bearing of south 81° 30' west for a distance of 7,650 metres to a point where the western bank of Davis Brook joins the southern bank of Kitchener Brook;

Then on a true bearing of south 50° west 1,600 metres to a point on the northern bank of Indian River 800 metres westerly of Indian Falls;

Then running along the northern bank of Indian River in a general southeasterly direction and along the shoreline of Halls Bay to Snows Point;

Then continuing along the shoreline of Springdale and Halls Bay in a general northeasterly direction to the point of beginning.
