CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 864/96

Hughes Brook Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96-173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Hughes Brook Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point, that point being located at the centre point of the bridge on Route 440 over Hughes Brook;

Then in a generally northeasterly direction along the centre line of Hughes Brook 1,825 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being where an unnamed brook flows into Hughes Brook;

Then in a generally southeasterly direction along the southern bank of the unnamed brook a distance of 775 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being on the southernmost abutment of a bridge spanning the brook;

Then south 8° east a distance of 1,850 metres, more or less, to a point on the planning area boundary of the City of Corner Brook;

Then along the planning area boundary of Corner Brook north 80° 30' west a distance of 2,800 metres, more or less, to a point on the centre line of Hughes Brook;

Then in a generally northeasterly direction along the centre line of Hughes Brook a distance of 800 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.

All bearings as with distances given are subject to approximation.

All bearings refer to grid north.
