CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 898/96

Parsons Pond Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96-173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Parsons Pond Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point, that point being on the highwater mark of the shoreline of the Gulf of St. Lawrence having a military grid reference 498463;

Then north 89° east a distance of 1.95 kilometres, more or less;

Then south 2° west a distance of 5 kilometres, more or less;

Then north 89° west a distance of 600 metres, more or less, to a point on the western shoreline of Parsons Pond;

Then following the sinuosities of Parsons Pond in a generally southerly direction a distance of approximately 4.12 kilometres to a point on the northern bank of an unnamed brook where the brook flows into Parsons Pond;

Then in a generally southwestern direction along the northern bank of the unnamed brook a distance of approximately 1.77 kilometres to a point where the brook flows out of a pond locally known as Two Mile Pond;

Then in a generally southwestern direction along the northern shoreline of Two Mile Pond a distance of approximately 2.53 kilometres to a point on the western bank of an unnamed brook where the brook flows into Two Mile Pond;

Then north 85° west a distance of 1.85 kilometres, more or less, to a point on the eastern boundary of the right-of-way of Route 430;

Then in a generally northerly direction along the easterly limit of the Route 430 right-of-way a distance of approximately 5.39 kilometres to the intersection of Route 430 and the Old Northern Peninsula Highway, Route 73;

Then due west a distance of 200 metres, more or less, to a point on the highwater mark of the shoreline of the Gulf of St. Lawrence;

Then in a generally northerly direction along the shoreline of the Gulf of St. Lawrence to the point of beginning.

All bearings refer to grid north.

All bearings as with distances given are subject to approximation.
