CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 926/96

St. John's Urban Region, Regional Development Order
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96-173)

Under the authority of section 57 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the St. John's Urban Region, Regional Development Order .

Application of Order

        2. This Order applies generally throughout the St. John's Urban Region, Regional Planning Area declared by the minister and described or referred to in the St. John's Urban Region, Regional Plan approved by the minister.

Prohibition

        3. All public authorities and all other persons, corporations, partnerships, associations or other organizations are prohibited from taking any action or undertaking any development that conflicts with or is inconsistent with the approved regional plan for the St. John's Urban Region, Regional Planning Area.

Repeal

        4. Newfoundland Regulation 914/78 is repealed.
