Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
under the
Environment Act

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act, I designate the area generally known as the Torrent River Water Supply Area for the Town of Hawkes Bay as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands described as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference 500,000 5,590,000 5° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 4,750 metres to the commencement point.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 280° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 4,875 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 258° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 6,375 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 324° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 5,750 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 17° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 2,125 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 47° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 3,125 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 312° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 2,125 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 20° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,500 metres.
