Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
under the

Environment Act

(Filed September 10, 1997)

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act, I designate the area generally known as the Irishtown Brook Water Supply Area for the Town of Irishtown - Summerside (East) as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands described as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference, zone 21, 430,000 metres east, 5,427,000 metres north, 62° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 550 metres to the commencement point;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 18° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,025 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 34° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 625 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 14° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 875 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 25° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,100 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 42° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 450 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 157° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 350 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 64° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 350 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 82° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,050 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 189° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 350 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 222° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 975 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 247° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 475 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 191° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 600 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 97° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 575 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 180° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,575 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 239° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,875 metres

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 311° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 1,150 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.

The Notice of Protected Water Supply Area for Irishtown Brook, Consolidated Newfoundland Regulation 610/96, is repealed.
