Duley Lake Provincial Park Proclamation, 1998

Provincial Parks Act
(O.C. 97-327)

Under the authority of section 4 of the Provincial Parks Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council proclaims the area described in the Schedule to be a provincial park.

Schedule

All that piece or parcel of land situate and being at Walsh River near Labrador City , in the Electoral District of Labrador West, abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say:

Beginning at a point, that point being Post No. 11 of Newfoundland Labrador Mining Block 23 and having co-ordinates of north 29, 211 metres and east 14,397.80 metres from Geodetic Station "Lucky" having assigned co-ordinates of north 30,480 metres and east 30,480 metres;

Then running by the Mining Block 23 south 8° 20 23" west 2,760.30 metres;

Then south 42° 50 25" west 2,028.42 metres;

Then running by Crown land north 47° 09 35" west 1,580.51 metres, more or less;

Then running by Mining Block 25 north 62° 33 55" east 25.30 metres;

Then north 38° 10 47" east 915.19 metres;

Then north 16° 42 09" east 2,274.12 metres, more or less;

Then running by Crown land north 82° 08 east 1,713.02 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning and containing an area of 690.3 hectares, more or less.

All bearings referred to the true meridian.
