Notice of Wellhead Protected Water Supply Area
under the
Environment Act

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act, I designate an area within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Frenchman s Cove, Fortune Bay as a wellhead protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the provincial Electoral District of Grand Bank abutted and bounded as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference, NAD27, zone 21, 620,000 metres east, 5,230,000 metres north 63° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 250 metres to the commencement point;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 88° 30 grid azimuth for a distance of 500 metres;

Then from the west side of Frenchmans Cove Barasway runout high water mark to the point 619,850 metres east 5,229,000 metres north;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 287° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 150 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 204° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 175 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.
