Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Jersey Pond
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as the Jersey Pond Water Supply Area for the Town of Milltown – Head of Bay DEspoir as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Fortune Bay – Cape La Hune abutted and bounded as follows:

By a line drawn from Military Grid Reference NAD 27, Zone 21, 595,900 metres east 5,307,650 metres north 209° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,625 metres from the commencement point;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 248° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,000 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 230° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,600 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 307° 45' grid azimuth for a distance of 475 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 38° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 3,350 metres;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 73° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 575 metres; and

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 113° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 725 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.

The Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Jersey Pond, Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 615/96, is repealed.
