Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Cointres Brook, WS-S-0902, Local Service District of Mainland
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as the Cointres Brook Water Supply Area, WS-S-0902, for the Local Service District of Mainland, as a protected water supply area .

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Stephenville – Port au Port abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 338,706 metres and northing 5,380,739 metres;

Then running in an easterly direction for a distance of 263 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 338,967 metres and northing 5,380,772 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 367 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 339,189 metres and northing 5,380,480 metres;

Then running in an easterly direction for a distance of 242 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 339,414 metres and northing 5,380,568 metres;
