Town of
Cook
's Harbour Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)
Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.
ORDER

Short title
1.
This Order may be cited as the Town of Cook's Harbour Order

The boundaries of the Town of
Cook
's Harbour are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal
3.
Newfoundland
Regulation 612/78 is repealed.

Schedule
Beginning at a point at the highwater mark which is the most eastern extremity of Cook's Point and then running in a generally southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline of Cook's Harbour to the most westerly point of Neige Bay;
Then running along the sinuosities of the eastern shoreline of Long Point to the north end of the foot bridge which spans Barr Island Cove;
Then running along the sinuosities of the western shoreline of Long Point to the most northerly point of the northeast arm of
Salt
Lake
;
Then running due west a distance of 750 metres to the centre line of the main highroad of St. Anthony;
Then running in a northeast direction along the centre line of the highroad a distance of 550 metres to the junction point of the roads leading to St. Anthony, Wild Bight and Cook's Harbour;
Then running due north a distance of 950 metres to a point on the south shoreline of

Then running in a generally northeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the south shoreline of
Cape
Norman
Bay
via
Square
Bay
and
Bonne
Bay
to the point of beginning.
