Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Labrador City Municipal Planning Area. PLANNING
Beginning at a point in the centre line of The Narrows between
Then following in a generally westerly and southerly direction the centre lines of the following lakes and rivers: Little Wabush Lake, the river flowing from Harrie Lake into Little Wabush Lake, Harrie Lake, the river flowing from Canning Lake into Harrie Lake, Canning Lake, the river flowing from Long Lake into Canning Lake and Long Lake to a point at the mouth of an unnamed river which flows from the southeast into Long Lake; Then following the sinuosities of the centre line of the unnamed river in a generally southeast direction to a point on the northern shoreline of an unnamed lake, that point being at the headwaters of the unnamed river which flows into Long Lake; Then following the centre line of the unnamed lake in a generally southeast direction to a point on the southernmost shoreline of the unnamed lake; Then due south a distance of 350 metres, more or less; Then due west a distance of 2,900 metres, more or less, to a point being on the Quebec/Newfoundland and Labrador boundary; Then following the Quebec/Newfoundland and Labrador boundary in a general northwesterly direction to a point on the boundary being due east of Daigle Lake where the Fermont Highway crosses the eastern shore of Daigle Lake a distance of 700 metres, more or less; Then due north a distance of 22,050 metres, more or less, to a point on the northeastern shore of an unnamed lake; Then due east a distance of 19,000 metres, more or less, to a point on the west shore of Wabush Lake, that point being the highwater mark of Wabush Lake; Then due east to a point in the centre line of
