CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 873/96

L'Anse au Loup Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96-173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the L'Anse au Loup Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point, that point being on Route 87 and approximately one kilometre northeast of the intersection of Route 87 and the road to L'Anse Amour;

Then north 50° west a distance of 1.4 kilometres, more or less;

Then north 18° 30' east a distance of 2.25 kilometres, more or less;

Then north 72° west a distance of 1.35 kilometres, more or less;

Then north 35° 30' west a distance of 4.15 kilometres, more or less;

Then north 5° 30' west a distance of 2.95 kilometres, more or less, to the southern bank of an unnamed stream;

Then north 41° 30' west a distance of 1.95 kilometres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill;

Then north 55° east a distance of 3.4 kilometres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill;

Then north 15° 30' east a distance of 5.2 kilometres, more or less, to the southern tip of an unnamed pond;

Then south 65° east a distance of 3.25 kilometres, more or less, to the southern tip of an unnamed pond;

Then south 1° west a distance of 3.75 kilometres, more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill;

Then south 7° west a distance of 3.5 kilometres, more or less;

Then south 59° east a distance of 3.05 kilometres, more or less;

Then south 10° east a distance of 4.65 kilometres, more or less, to the western point on an unnamed brook;

Then along the western bank of that brook in a generally southerly direction a distance of 0.95 kilometres, more or less, to the intersection of the brook and the Strait of Belle Isle ;

Then along the shoreline in a generally northwesterly and southeasterly direction a distance of 7.5 kilometres, more or less;

Then north 50° west a distance of 3.35 kilometres, more or less, to the point of beginning.

All bearings refer to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation.
