MAY IT PLEASE YOUR MAJESTY-

WHEREAS it appears that the sums mentioned are required to defray certain expenses of the Public Service of Newfoundland and Labrador for the financial year ending March 31, 2005 and for other purposes relating to the public service:

MAY IT THEREFORE PLEASE YOUR MAJESTY THAT-

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the Interim Supply Act, 2004.

2. From and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund there may be issued by the Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board sums not exceeding $1,287,423,900 and the sums so issued shall be paid and applied by the several Heads of Expenditure in respect of the financial year extending from April 1, 2004 to March 31, 2005 towards defraying the charges and expenses of the Public Service of Newfoundland and Labrador as set out in the Schedule.

3. This Act is considered to have come into force on April 1, 2004.
