Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Limited Exemption Order
under the
Electrical Power Control Act, 1994

Under the authority of subsection 14.1(7) of the Electrical Power Control Act, 1994, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

1. This Order may be cited as the Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Limited Exemption Order.

Definition

2. In this Order, "Act" means the Electrical Power Control Act, 1994.

Exemption

3. Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Limited is exempt from subsection 14.1(1) of the Act for all aspects of their activities respecting the purchase of electrical power and energy from Nalcor Energy Marketing, to a maximum of 65 GWh, until June 30, 2021.
