Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Button's Pond, WS-S-0672, Local Service District of Caplin Cove-Southport
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act, I designate the area generally known as the Button's Pond Water Supply Area, WS-S-0672, for the Local Service District of Caplin Cove-Southport as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

 

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Terra Nova abutted and bounded as follows:

 

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 303,148 and northing 5,324,814.

 

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 496 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 303,605 metres and northing 5,325,007 metres;

 

Then running in a easterly direction for a distance of 434 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 304,028 metres and northing 5,325,105 metres;

 

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 215 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 304,206 metres and northing 5,324,985 metres;

 

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 136 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 304,249 metres and northing 5,324,856 metres;

 

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 135 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 304,240 metres and northing 5,324,721 metres;

 

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 213 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 304,106 metres and northing 5,324,555 metres;

 

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 359 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 303,806 metres and northing 5,324,357 metres;

 

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 179 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 303,714 metres and northing 5,324,204 metres;

 

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 478 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 303,238 metres and northing 5,324,242 metres;

 

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 185 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 303,223 metres and northing 5,324,426 metres;

 

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 179 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 303,280 metres and northing 5,324,596 metres;

 

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 160 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 303,177 metres and northing 5,324,719 metres;

 

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 99 metres, more or less, to the point of commencement.

 

All coordinates refer Zone 22 of the NAD 83 Universal Transverse Mercator Projection.
