Devices permitted
2.
(1) Only Aldrich foot snares or similar foot holding devices may be set for the taking of black bears and those devices shall be set in a covered "cubby set" and clearly marked with a warning sign indicating that a bear trapping device is set in the "cubby".
(2)
A person who sets a device referred to in subsection (1) shall check it daily.

Special licence
4.
Persons who have resided in the electoral district of Torngat
Mountains for a period of 6 consecutive months immediately before applying for a licence may be issued a licence identified as a special licence free of charge.

Bag limit
5.
(1) The bag limit shall be 2 black bear
of any age or sex per licence.
(2)
Notwithstanding subsection (1), female black bears accompanied by cubs shall not be taken by shooting.

6.
