EXPLANATORY NOTE This Bill would amend the Provincial Court Act, 1991 to extend the period within which the tribunal appointed to review salaries and benefits of the Provincial Court judges must report to September 14, 2001. At present, the tribunal must report by April 22, 2001.
A BILL AN ACT TO AMEND THE PROVINCIAL Analysis 1. S.28.3(1) Amdt. Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: SN1991 c15 1. (1) Subsection 28.3(1) of the Provincial Court Act, 1991 is amended by striking out the date "April 22, 2001" and substituting the date "September 14, 2001". (2) Subsection (1) is considered to have come into force on April 21, 2001.
