Public Accounts Committee: traditionally reviews the annual report of the Auditor General, selecting matters from the report on which to hold hearings. This Committee also reviews the audited accounts of the House, the Clerk's role as accounting Officer of the House, and inquires into other matters it may decide on relating to the Public Accounts of the Province. The Chair of the Public Accounts Committee is traditionally an Opposition Member.
