History of the Standings in the 51st General Assembly

After the General Election of October 14, 2025, there were 21 Progressive Conservative Members, 15 Liberal Members, 2 New Democratic Members, and 2 Independent/Non-affiliated Members returned to the House of Assembly.

Members were officially sworn or affirmed into office on November 3, 2025.

Subsequent to applications for judicial recounts, the Member for the district of Lewisporte - Twillingate and the Member for the district of Placentia West - Bellevue were later sworn into office on November 18, 2025.

Subsequent to a judicial recount, the Member for the district of Topsail - Paradise was later sworn on November 25, 2025.
