Profile
Craig Pardy was raised in Catalina, within the Municipality of Trinity Bay North, in the Northern part of the District of Bonavista. He is the son of William and Myrtle Pardy and attended Memorial University where he graduated with a B.Ed.; B.P.E. and M. Ed. in 1986. He currently resides with his family in George's Brook-Milton.
Craig taught in several schools in the District of Bonavista (L.R. Ash Elementary; Catalina Elementary; Anthony Paddon Elementary) and served as Principal of Clarenville Middle School for 16 years. He was chair of the George's Brook-Milton Local Service District Committee and worked with this dedicated group of volunteers to incorporate the community into the province's newest Town in May of 2018. Craig then served as the Town's first Mayor.
First elected to the House of Assembly on May 16th, 2019 as the Member for the District of Bonavista, Craig was then re-elected March 25th, 2021.
