Tony Wakeham is honored to serve the people of Stephenville-Port au Port as their MHA. Tony was born and raised in Placentia. A graduate of MUN, Tony's career spanned over 30 years in the public service and several years in the private sector. Recently, he was CEO of Labrador-Grenfell Health.

A former President of NLBA and Canada Basketball, Tony was inducted into the NL Basketball Hall of Fame as athlete and builder.

Since being elected on May 16, 2019 and re-elected on March 25, 2021, Tony has been a strong advocate for people in need and committed to delivering results for Stephenville-Port au Port. Tony will always champion the interests of people and will be their strong voice.

A resident of Stephenville-Port au Port, Tony lives in Kippens with his wife, Patricia and have 2 adult children, Stephanie and Christopher.
